Extrusion and Film
Extrusion and Film runs the three pipe and profile extrusion lines and the blown film line at Dandenong South. The team changes dies and calibrators, starts up and shuts down lines, controls dimensions and marking, and manages cooling water, haul-off, cutting and coiling.
What the team is accountable for
- Change extrusion dies and calibrators under lock out
- Start up, run and shut down extrusion lines to procedure
- Control pipe dimensions, wall thickness and marking
- Manage material blending, drying and regrind
- Test pipe samples and record results against the standard

Who works here
Sunita Devi
Sunita supervises the extrusion lines and blown film, has run pipe lines for eleven years and owns the line setting sheets and pipe test records.
Renee Douglas
Renee runs pipe line 2, has operated extrusion lines for four years and carries out the in-line dimension checks and pipe sample tests.

Keeps the stock record for resins, masterbatch, copper rod, rubber ingredients, compounds and chemicals with lot numbers, quantities and locations.
Quality Nonconformance Register
Records nonconforming product, process deviations, cable test failures and customer complaints with disposition and corrective action.
