Regrind

Calibrator

Purging

Molten material pushed out of a barrel or die during cleaning or changeover, which is hot and must be handled with heat-resistant gloves.

Step splice

A conveyor belt joint in which each ply is stepped back a set length so the plies overlap and are vulcanised together under heat and pressure.
