Six departments make up the business. Each page shows the purpose, the people, the measures that matter and the systems the team works in.
Injection Moulding
Injection Moulding runs the 14-machine moulding hall at Dandenong South on three shifts. Setters change dies and establish the process from the setting sheet, operators run and inspect parts, and the team manages material drying, regrind, finishing and packing against job cards.
Extrusion and Film
Extrusion and Film runs the three pipe and profile extrusion lines and the blown film line at Dandenong South. The team changes dies and calibrators, starts up and shuts down lines, controls dimensions and marking, and manages cooling water, haul-off, cutting and coiling.
Cable Works
Cable Works at Bayswater draws copper rod to wire, bunches and strands conductors, extrudes PVC and cross-linked polyethylene insulation, lays up cores and applies sheaths, then tests, marks and reels finished cable to the Australian standards and customer orders.
Rubber and Belting
Rubber and Belting at Wingfield mixes rubber compounds on the internal and open mills, calenders sheet, builds and cures fabric ply conveyor belts, moulds linings and seals, and sends splicing and repair crews to mine, quarry and port sites across South Australia.
Tooling and Maintenance
Tooling and Maintenance keeps moulds, dies, calibrators, machines and ancillaries in production condition across all three sites. The toolroom services and repairs moulds, runs new tool trials with the setters, and the maintenance team carries out planned and breakdown maintenance under isolation.
Technical, Quality and WHS
Technical, Quality and WHS runs the quality management system, the laboratory, material and compound development, customer complaints and nonconformances, and work health and safety across all sites, including incident investigation, chemical registers, guarding audits and training records.
