Cable Works
Cable Works at Bayswater draws copper rod to wire, bunches and strands conductors, extrudes PVC and cross-linked polyethylene insulation, lays up cores and applies sheaths, then tests, marks and reels finished cable to the Australian standards and customer orders.

- Draw, anneal, bunch and strand copper conductor
- Insulate and sheath cable on the extrusion lines
- Lay up multicore cables to the construction sheet
- Test conductor resistance, spark and high voltage on every reel
- Mark, reel and label cable with the required approval marking
